There’s got to be some way to make this thing safer. Maybe rig some kind of sheathe for the blade to the seat so that when there’s weight on the seat the blade pops out the bottom of it and when there’s weight off the seat it slides back into it.

Why no fenders over the wheels? You know those these things that keep your leg from rubbing against the moving wheel! If it is a saw blade...seems like you should not go fenderless...unless you want it to be super dangerous!
